The Arizona sky goes on forever,

The weather sure is nice, but I miss the rain.

I never planned to stay this long,

So many years have come and gone,

Too many years to be away from home.

Have I been gone too long?

Not a day goes by I don’t think about you,

I often wonder if you think about me,

But there’s no way for me to know,

I just wanna pack up and go.

But would I still be alone when I get home?

I don’t really know why I came this far,

I guess I hitched my dream to the wrong star.

But this loneliness is killing me,

Don’t know where I’m supposed to be,

And all I do is dream of home.

Have I been gone too long?

Well it hurts just a little bit to know that I’m growin’ older,

But it hurts a lot more to know time is runnin’ on,

And if I could have one wish I would go back in time,

And save the years that I have thrown away.
