Once Upon A Time           (turn up your speakers & click on the song title)

My life is filled with memories, vivid images of things,

That didn’t seem important at the time.

But now these endless empty days,

Take their toll and have their way,

Of reminding me that once upon a time...

Once upon a time I was not lonely,

Once upon a time you were mine,

And I thought time would always be on my side,

How could I know that I would lose you once upon on a time.

Now summers go, but winter stays,

And I know I’ll face darker days,

But I just can’t imagine what they’ll be.

So I think back to better days,

Of loving you and your loving ways,

And dream about the things I’ll never see...

Like holding you while you’re sleeping,

And makin’ love deep in the night.

Like holding hands and walkin’, just passin’ the time,

Things I had planned on doing once upon a time.

Once upon a time you said you loved me,

Once upon a time you were mine,

And I thought time would always be on my side,

How could I know that I would lose you once upon a time,

How could I know that I would lose you, once upon a time.
